About
I was born and raised up in Central Kenya. My parents were born-again Christians and they exposed me to the Christian faith and involvement in Church activities at an early age.
After school and college I first worked in the electronic media. I then began theological studies through Theological Education by Extension (TEE) at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi. I joined Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology for a Diploma in Christian Ministries after which I took a Bachelor of Theology degree in the same institution, by then chartered, and known as Africa International University (AIU). I later joined the same AIU for a Master of Arts in Theology degree. I had by this time started teaching Bible and Theology course at Daystar University. My interest in teaching led me to enroll for PhD in Theology, again at AIU.
I have taught at AIU and Daystar and I am now serving as Head of the Department of Theology and Pastoral Studies at Daystar University. I am a member of the Africa Society of Evangelical Theology (ASET).
I am an ordained minister with the Anglican Church of Kenya at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi. I preach and teach in the Sunday services and in other Church group activities regularly. I am married to Rev. Lucy Wambui Mburu for 28 years now.
