My research interest is mainly in Statistics , Actuarial Science and Mathematical Modeling. Statistics areas of interest include Stochastic Modeling of Disease epidemics ( eg HIV/AIDS), Sample Surveys and Estimation ( Derivation of new estimators ), Financial Time Series Modeling ( eg generalization of the GARCH model). Mathematical modeling includes research on the dynamical models for disease epidemics ( eg TB and Malaria ) and modeling Diabetes. Current research interest in Actuarial Science is on the determination ruin probabilities in the reformulated classical risk mode for solvency consideration of an insurance business. Both loss and Claims models are considered to be stochastic .
