About

I am Christian, Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in active practice, and a Legal Scholar. My area of expertise is Private Law which to put it simply consists of Family and Child Law, Succession Law, Land Law as well as Business Law. I started teaching at university level in 2005 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester and have since taught in many other universities both local and international. 

I am also a corporate governance expert. In that light, I was awarded the Institute of Certified Secretaries (Kenya) Researcher of the Year 2019 Award. I have served on various Boards including but not limited to serving as a Member and later as Chairperson of the Editorial Board of the Law Society of Kenya.

Research Interests

My areas of research interest cut across family law and business law. These include but are not limited to division of matrimonial property, rights of the child, corporate and data governance. 

Study at Daystar
