About
Areas of specialization are in
Music Literacy, Music Education, Church Music, Worship studies, Vocal and Instrumental studies and Choral studies. I have taught for over 25 years teaching music in educational systems of IGCSE(International General Certification of Secondary Education), Btec, EDEXEL, Pearson and ACE(Accelerated Christian Education) in a number of International Private Schools in the country. I have prepared students for the (ABRSM) Associated Board of Royal School of Music exams and (LCM) London College of Music. I am a music exam moderator for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
I am a member of (KMF) Kenya Music Festival for trainers and adjudicators
A member of the International Society for Music Education (ISME),
A member of the Kenya Voice Teachers Association (KEVTA) ,
A member of the Music Forum of Kenya (MFK) ,
A board member of CITAM Music Ministries,
A member of (PASMAE) Pan African Society for Musical Arts Education.
I am a born again Christian and have been a Pastor for Music at the Nairobi Baptist Church for 10years. I conduct worship workshops in churches across the country in the Anglican Church , CITAM Churches among others. I also help in music for church plants.
