About

I have been a Lecturer in Nursing at The Kenya Medical Training College- School of Nursing 1992-1994), The Cecily Macdonell School of Nursing (1994-2008), The Lecturer in the Department of Nursing and Department of Health Systems Management at the Kenya Methodist University(2009-2011).

 I have developed e learning modules in the following courses and programs of the Kenya Methodist University; Community Health Nursing, Reproductive Health Nursing for  BSc Nursing; Planning and Management  of Health Training Institutions for the BSc Health Systems Management ;  Health  Services Management .

Incorporating Leadership and Governance and  Service  Delivery for the MSc Health Systems Management ; and Introduction  to  Health Policy and Development   for MSc Nursing Education.

I have skills in Clinical practice of Nursing in the areas of General Medical and Surgical Nursing for Peadiatric and Adult Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health Nursing, Leadership and Management of Health Systems.

I have been an auditor for ISO certification in Clinical settings, an examiner for the Nursing Council of Kenya in the Nursing Licensing Examinations and participated in the development and review of Curricula and Policy for the Nursing Council of Kenya.

I am a member of the National Nurses Association of Kenya, The Palliative Care Association of Kenya, The International Palliative Care Association, The Health Systems Association of Kenya and The Bioethics Society of Kenya.
