About

I am a competent economist with vast experience in University teaching, research and consultancy in Kenya and in the region. Currently, I am a senior lecturer and Head of Economics Department at Daystar University;
I have been involved in collaborative research with Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) Research Centre, and with the World Bank Group, Macroeconomic and Fiscal Management (MFM) – Kenya, as a Short-Term Consultant (STC);
I am often and actively engaged as a resource person with Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI) in a number of its capacity building activities, mainly targeted at its Fellow’s Program as well as a number of In-Country missions; I am a peer reviewer for the South African Journal of Economics (SAJE);
 

I am an external examiner to University of Johannesburg, School of Economics and Econometrics; As my contribution to society I am a member of Board of Management (BOM) of Talai High School, in Baringo County, Kenya, where I Serve as the Chair of the Academic sub-Committee of the Board.
