Daniel Ndwiga Njeru
Ph.D Candidate | Lecturer in Information Systems & Technology
Daniel Njeru is an accomplished educator, researcher, and EdTech innovator with over 12 years of experience in higher education and ICT consultancy. Currently a Lecturer in Computer Science at Daystar University and a trainer on Artificial Intelligence at the Daystar Centre for AI, Modelling and Digital Trust, he specializes in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and learning management systems.
Daniel has held significant leadership roles, including Head of ICT and Engineering at Zetech University, where he oversaw academic programs, faculty development, and student mentorship. He is an active researcher with publications in cybercrime awareness, educational technology, and adaptive learning systems, and has received multiple awards for innovation and curriculum development.
His consultancy work spans curriculum design, software development for educational platforms, and digital transformation projects for institutions across East Africa. Daniel holds an MSc in Information Technology from Strathmore University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Information Systems Technology at United States International University, focusing on adaptive personalized learning for ICT educators in Kenya.
Committed to mentoring and innovation, Daniel continues to bridge technology and education through training, research, and collaborative projects.
