About

Before joining university I attended the pre-university training at the Naivasha National Youth Service Training Camp in January to April 1987.

I have been a teacher of English, class teacher, patron debating class and Christian union and head of department. As a lecturer at Daystar University, I have taught ENG 214:  English Structure and Usage, ENG 112: Advanced Writing, ENG 111: Advanced Reading, ENG 098: Remedial English, ENG 096: Basic English. I have acted head of department, have been exams officer department of risk champion, assistant director speech and writing centre (SWC) where I helped the late Elsie Scaif to set it up. I have Participated in curriculum review of the education programme, Advanced Writing, Advanced Reading, Remedial English, Basic English and Pre-university English. I have developed English language bridging courses and Advanced Syntax and lecture guides for teaching English 111 (Advanced Reading). I have supervised students on teaching practice, examined MA proposals and attended a series of workshops on the integration of faith and learning and training on how to conduct small bible study groups.
