I teach undergraduate courses in counseling and psychology at the School of Psychology, Daystar University, and supervise student research projects. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Daystar University, building on my master�s training in counseling psychology and my earlier background in education.I have over ten years of experience as a high school teacher, where I taught English and Literature, and my passion for teaching spans many years and continues to shape my work in psychology and higher education. I also have experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, case formulation, and mental-health support, and I currently serve as a consultant psychologist with Acuity Plus Mental Health. I am a registered member of the Kenya Association of Professional Counsellors and the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of Kenya, demonstrating my commitment to professional ethics and practice standards in the field.My research interests include adolescent mental health, drug and substance use, academic outcomes, and psychosocial wellbeing. I am passionate about student mentorship, mental-health advocacy, and strengthening evidence-based psychological practice in educational and community settings.
