Dr. Faith Muhonja is strategically focused, loyal, analytical, technically astute, and decisive personality. She is a team player and leader; with excellent written and verbal communication skills. She is academically qualified for up to a PhD in Public Health (Population & Reproductive Health) from Kenyatta University, School of Public Health. Dr. Faith Muhonja has a Master’s and bachelor's degree in Community Health and Development from Great Lakes University. She has more than thirty-two (35) publications, including twenty-four (24) peer-reviewed articles, two (2) books, and six (6) Book Chapters. Dr. Faith Muhonja has always maintained a high level of academic excellence, discipline, and focus and demonstrated inspiring scholarly attributes that will propel her to even greater heights in academia and Public Health research. She is a highly organized, dependable, resourceful, versatile, energetic, trustworthy, and self-motivated personality. She is an external examiner at Kenyatta University. Dr. Faith Muhonja is passionate about improving adolescents’ health and well-being, gerontology, physical activity, and successful aging, conducting health education training, research supervision, and academic writing and consultancy in epidemiology and disease prevention. She has Nine (9) years of experience as a Lecturer. She has successfully supervised more than (10) Master's students in public health to completion. She has successfully led in the development of three (3) curricula, including a PhD in Public Health, a Master's in Community Health, a Diploma in Community Health, and a BSc. in Public Health.
Her favourite quote “It takes all of us to make a market”. This reflects the biblical truth that community thrives through shared purpose and diverse contributions. As 1 Corinthians 12:14–20 teaches, “The body is not made up of one part but of many… God has arranged each part just as He wanted.” In Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 reminds us, “Two are better than one… If either fall, one can help the other up.” In both markets and ministry, collaboration multiplies strength, resilience, and impact
