I have a teaching experience of twenty two (22) years with most of it spend working in Universities. My main aim is to ensure students leave Universities with a better understanding of Music, their skill and how they can use it to impact the world in a positive manner. I work with the objective of enabling to students to see how they can leave their musical footprint on the places they touch. 

I specialize in African Music and Dance where I focus on creating a true understanding of African indigenous music,  its past and present role on society, the adaptations of new forms of cultural music, its impact on society and the practical performance of indigenous music. I also coordinate traditional dances by students for workshops and various festivals in the country. I also specialize in voice and African instruments.

I am currently working on my PhD Research Proposal on the Development of Uruasi music from the Taveta Community of Kenya. I aim to research the Uruasi dance which is seen in every community activity that has
song and dance.
I have been a consultant at the Permanent Presidential Music Commission for the last eight years. I assisted in the coodination of cultural and contemporary dance performances for presidential functions and for research purposes. I also administrate and coordinated intensive two to three week youth training programmes in music and dance.

I am currently a Director of Music in my church where I work with my church choir to minister to our ever growing congregation. I  am also blessed to coordinate travels that allow me to interacting with different communities where I learn, perform and recording traditional dances and ways of instrumentation.
