Mr. Kiragu Wachira is the Director of Sustainable Institutions Consulting Ltd, a consultancy firm that provides technical support to government and industry in such areas as public policy, strategy, governance, legislative and international development. 

Kiragu holds an MSc in Public Policy and Management (University of London), Master of Laws (LL.M) with specialization in International Economic Law (University of South Africa), Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting (Athabasca University, Canada), Postgraduate Diploma in Management (University of Cape Town), BSc degree in International Development, London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (University of Nairobi). He is also a Certified Public Secretary (CPS- K).

Kiragu has over 15 years’ work experience in sectors such as education, health, administration of justice, roads and infrastructure, agriculture, public finance, trade and economic development, and has consulted for over 20 government entities and projects funded by USAID, World Bank, DANIDA, DFID, UK Aid, WHO, SIDA, EU, Government of Netherlands, Bloomberg Philanthropies and Oxfam. Kiragu has also consulted for the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), the Kenya Association of Manufacturer (KAM), and Oxfam among others.

Currently, Kiragu is completing a BSc degree in International Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and is undertaking an MBA degree, University of Birmingham, UK.
