Mr. Kamau Ng’ang’a is a leader in strategy and international business development in the energy industry.  

He has served as Director of Equip Solutions Limited for the past 20 years, guiding its growth and long-term direction. 

His expertise covers the electrical generation, transmission, and distribution sectors. 

Kamau has extensive global business development experience across six continents. He represents a diverse array of industry players in Kenya, spanning North America (USA), Europe (United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and Russia), Asia (South Korea and India), Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), Africa (South Africa), and South America (Brazil). 

Mr. Ng’ang’a navigates these diverse markets, cultures, and economic landscapes to provide reliable, top-tier energy solutions. His ability to anticipate trends, understand client needs, overcome challenges, and seize opportunities has solidified his reputation as a trusted ally. 

Beyond business, Kamau is passionate about supporting widows, orphans, the elderly, the underprivileged, and individuals living with albinism through mentorship, education, and other charitable programmes.  

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Administration from Daystar University.  

Mr. Ng’ang’a has made significant contributions to his alma mater in various leadership roles. He served on the Daystar Board of Trustees from 2014 to 2020, and from 2024 to date. Additionally, he has been a member of the Daystar Company since 2014. 

Prior to his appointment to the Company and Board, Kamau served on the Daystar University Council from 2003 to 2006, and was the Chairperson of the Daystar University Alumni Association (DUAA) in the same period.
