About

I am a social scientist at Dayster University, in the School of Education. I have a strong academic background and professional interest in Educational Leadership and Gender Equity in Education. I am committed to promoting effective school leadership practices and mentorship of young leaders.
My participation in community work includes membership in various committees, among them, Catholic Principals Association National Governing Council,  the Kenya  Secondary School Principals Association,  the National Secretary of the Retired Principals Association of Kenya, and the Family Life Apostolate program. I have been awarded twice: the presidential award in 2022, and an international award from the Duke of Edinburgh for the formation of young people.
I have more than five publications in the areas of Education Management and Administration. I have authored two books: RAISING RESPONSIBLE TEENAGERS AND EARLY PREGNANCY INTERVENTIONS, which I co-authored with the late Prof. Joyce Wacuka Kanyiri.
I am a member of two professional bodies: the Educational Leadership and Research Association and the Kenya  Association of Educational Administration and Management.
