About

I am a researcher, academic, and public health consultant with expertise in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Monitoring and Evaluation. My work focuses on advancing health outcomes through evidence-based research and innovative methodologies. Over the years, I have accumulated extensive experience in Public Health Research, addressing key areas such as arboviruses, HIV/AIDS, cancer, e-health, maternal and child health (MCH), gender-based violence, and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). My contributions are well-documented in numerous peer-reviewed journal publications.

My research portfolio includes significant work in molecular disease surveillance, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as mass tag PCR, real-time PCR, and high-resolution melt curve analysis. This technical expertise enables precise disease monitoring and intervention strategies. My foundation in epidemiology has further strengthened my proficiency in Biostatistics and advanced data analysis, which are critical in translating data into actionable health insights.

As a certified Health Monitoring and Evaluation professional, my goal is to develop innovative technologies and systems to improve healthcare delivery in Kenya and across Africa. I strongly advocate for the one-health approach, integrating human, animal, and environmental health to address complex and interconnected public health challenges.

Specialties and Training:
- Epidemiology and Disease Control: Kenyatta University
- Epidemiology and Medical Statistics: Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)
- Molecular Biology and Biochemistry: University of Nairobi (UoN)
- Biomedical and Research Ethics, including GLCP: African Malaria Network Trust (AMANET)
- Community Health Practice: Amref International University (AMIU)
- Proficient in advanced data analysis techniques.

My overarching mission is to contribute to transformative healthcare solutions that benefit Kenya and the broader African continent through cutting-edge research, collaboration, and technological innovation.
